NCEED and Morgan State University welcomed two Philadelphia schools, Chester Community Charter School and Paul Public Charter School, to campus on Thursday, November 6 for MSU’s annual Founders Day. The effort was supported by university historian, Dr. Edwin Johnson. Arrangements were made for the students to observe the Founders Day Convocation on a livestream in BSSC (the new Jenkins Hall). The students were additionally treated to a “meet and greet” with President Wilson, as well as Dean Glenda Prime and NCEED Director Meria Carstarphen.

Convocation is a mandatory attendance event for university freshmen, as well as for all faculty. We are excited that students were able to experience this special event with MSU.
