On September 23, Dr. Elizabeth Holliday Morgan delivered a talk for the University of Maryland Autism Research Consortium, a multidisciplinary group of researchers and practitioners in psychology, cognitive science, education, and hearing and speech sciences. Her presentation, titled “Promoting Practices for Supporting Black Autistic Children and Their Families Post-Pandemic,” was based on one of her recent publications and served as part of a new monthly talk series (launching this fall) that highlights autism researchers and practitioners at UMD and across the local DMV area. The session, offered both in person and via Zoom, was well received by attendees.
