Dr. Daryll Williams will be a featured speaker at the The BOND Academy 2025 sharing his presentation, Iron Sharpens Iron: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” Proverbs 27:17 (NIV), with conference attendees.  The BOND Academy, the BOND Project’s yearly conference, will take place from April 25th through April 27th at Bowie State University, the oldest HBCU in Maryland. The Academy features powerful presentations and discussions on instructional strategies, career advancement, community building, cultural proficiency, and social emotional learning, primarily through the lens of male educators of color. Practitioners at every level of education (teachers, professors, counselors, para-educators, administrators, central office staff, student teachers) are welcome, as well as community leaders, board of education members, elected officials, and interested community members.  Through the partnership with the Wallace Foundation, Baltimore City principals and central office leaders will be attending the conference this year.

The Building Our Network of Diversity (BOND) Project is committed to advancing efforts to recruit, develop, support, and retain male educators of color. The BOND Project demonstrates its commitment through professional enrichment, mentoring, scholarship, and fellowship activities for educators across the country.
