Congratulations to Dr. Elizabeth H. Morgan on her official selection as a participant in the Centering Blackness in Teacher Education through the Use of African-American Digital Archives Institute! Sponsored in part by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources – Mid-Atlantic Region Program and coordinated by the American Historical Association, this highly competitive program brings together an inspiring community of scholars committed to reciprocal learning. Out of a large pool of applicants, Dr. Morgan was recognized as an integral voice for this work. As a participant, she will engage in four workshops and attend an in-person convening during the 2026 AERA meeting, contributing to a dynamic exchange on Blackness, history, and transformative teacher education.
