Dr. Elizabeth Holliday Morgan, Associate Professor in the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership, and Policy (DASLP) and research faculty for the National Center for the Elimination of Educational Disparities (NCEED), and Dr. Sharde Theodore, Assistant Professor at Morgan State University and research faculty for NCEED, have been selected to participate in the DREAM In-Person Grant Writing Training for HBCU Faculty in Washington, D.C., on September 25–26, 2025.

Both applications stood out for their strong alignment with the workshop’s mission to strengthen competitive grant proposals focused on special education, early childhood, and related services personnel under IDEA. This prestigious opportunity will support Dr. Morgan and Dr. Theodore in advancing innovative, equity-driven research and grant development efforts.
