NCEED Director Dr. Meria Carstarphen was the guest of honor at an April 8 “Welcome to the National Treasure” Dinner, hosted by the Star Scholars Network.  The Society of Transnational Academic Researchers (STAR), is a “ grassroots movement of scholars working across borders. Each letter of our name describes the values and commitments of the people who join our network: scholars who care about research for social impact, transnationally networked leaders, academically-driven educators, and researchers with ethics and integrity.”

Special thanks to Dr. Krishna Bista and Dr. Uttam Gaulee for the fellowship and for modeling how collaboration begins—around the table, with intention.
