Dr. Leslie A. Anderson has been invited to serve a third consecutive term on the editorial board of the Journal of Family Theory and Review, ranked second among 66 child and family focused journals in Clarivate’s 2024 Journal Citation Reports. Among the journal’s 87 board members, Dr. Anderson is the only scholar representing a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Additionally, Dr. Anderson has been invited to a second consecutive term on the board of directors for the Family Process Institute. In addition to overseeing the prestigious Family Process journal, the Institute advances initiatives that support child and family centered scholarship, practice, research, and policy, with a commitment to social justice.
